Program Description:

In the context of the age-old city of Jerusalem, The Rothberg International School (RIS) is offering many new courses and programs for college students from a few short weeks to a whole year! Students can choose to spend a summer, semester or year at RIS taking courses taught in English or in Hebrew, learning Hebrew and Arabic while joining fellow students in excursions around the city.  In addition to our traditional semester and year study abroad programs, our varied programming options include:
• Spring in Jerusalem, a joint initiative with Harvard University designed for academically promising undergraduates to take a number of courses taught in English or in Hebrew at The Hebrew University faculties.
• ArtJerusalem is a joint initiative of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem and the Rothberg International School (RIS).  This program combines artistic training and university study for not only students with advanced art training, but those just beginning to discover the world of art.
• An expanded offering of business courses in conjunction with Hebrew Universitys School of Business Administration, including "Silicon Wadi": Global Entrepreneurship in a Middle Eastern Economy, International Business and Legal Environment, Quantitive Methods in Management, Israel's Economy in the Global Context and Financial Systems around the World.
• Our DanceJerusalem and Jerusalem Sounds initiative with the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance combining professional musical training with academic exposure to Israel's challenging social, historical and cultural environment
