How You'll Study
CEA’s innovative Virtual Study Center is facilitated via the online platform Moodle. Through a curated set of courses, lecture series and cultural engagement activities, you will gain access to perspectives from different countries and regions around the world. Courses are taught by faculty from across CEA’s study center network. This exposure to cultural diversity will further your development as a global citizen, equipping you to work in an interconnected world. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, upon completion of their program.
UIC Application Process
- Attend a First Step presentation
- Meet with the UIC Study Abroad advisor for this program: Dr. Kyle Rausch (schedule an appointment here)
- Complete the UIC Study Abroad Office application
- Meet with your academic advisor to determine if you can receive academic credit and complete the course approval form
- Upcoming terms:
- Complete the CEA application by January 30, 2021 for CEA's spring II term with dates of April 1st through May 28th, 2021.
- Complete the CEA application by April 2, 2021 for CEA's summer term with dates of June 15th through August 13th, 2021.

Cost/Funding
UIC Cost: $1,495 + $250 UIC Study Abroad Fee
(includes: 3 UIC credits, virtual internship placement, and other program components, weekly coaching with a NACE-certified career coach, cultural engagement, and career readiness assessment)
